How long have you been receiving support from Distinctive Options?
I started receiving supports with Distinctive Options in 2015. At that stage, I only had 1 day of 1:1 supports, however, over the years, 1:1 has become my preference, and I now go out 4 times a week with my 1:1 Support Worker, in to the community. Prior to receiving supports with Distinctive Options, I worked for the company in an administrative role.
How does Individualised Living Support help you to live your best life?
1:1 supports assists me to live my best life, as I pretty much have choice and control over the activities that I do. I get to choose how, and where I spend my time, and this assists me to achieve independence in the community and in my life.
